Donelson Counseling Ministry
That’ll never happen to me….You never expected you would lose your best friend, lose your job, or face a moral failure. You never believed you could be so far away from God who was at one time so near. You never dreamed that intimacy with your marriage partner could have ever gotten this distant and this cold. You never expected that you, of all people, would have alcohol control your life. You never conceived that you would become so depressed that you can not face one more day. You never thought it would or could happen to you. If any of these thoughts or experiences describes your life or that of a loved one or friend, you may need the help of a caring, a trained professional counselor to help discover a way out. Donelson Counseling Ministry is just the place to find that help.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is for every individual, couple and family to experience meaningful healthy relationships, intimacy that is authentic, and a passion for living that is built on a growing, personal faith.
Philosophy
Our counseling philosophy applies a faith-driven principle that God cares about our hurts. We do not believe that God comes to rescue us from the consequences of our behavior, but helps us change and accept those things we cannot change. Quick, easy answers are hardly ever the solution to life's problems. An insightful process of growth and hard work often brings the joy of living back home again.
