Outreach Ministries
WORLD MISSIONS — We are strongly committed to the spread of the gospel throughout the world. We presently support mission efforts in several locations with the greatest concentration in North and Central America, Australia, Czech Republic, Mozambique, Africa and Columbia, South America.
BENEVOLENCE — Every year we provide food, clothing, furniture, and financial help for those in need. Our Help Center is located directly across the street on Knobview Drive.
CHILD CARE — We maintain a home for children who need temporary care while waiting on adoption, permanent foster care, or parents who are again able to provide care.
ROOM IN THE INN — Each Tuesday night from November through March, we provide food, clothing, and shelter to homeless men.
INNER CITY — Each week a group of Inner City children are brought to our facility for a special time of teaching about God’s love and our love for them.
DONELSON COUNSELING — We are committed to the development of godly families. Jim Parnell leads our efforts at both preventative and therapeutic care through special classes and seminars and through individual and family counseling.
Preaching and Teaching Ministries
FAMILY MINISTRY--CHILDREN — Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, there are fun and biblical classes for every age group (nursery-5th grade).
FAMILY MINISTRY--YOUTH — We have a large group of youth (grades 6-12) who enjoy a variety of activities, including worship, service projects, athletics, Winterfest, mission trips, summer camp, retreats, etc. Spiritual growth is at the heart of our youth program.
WORSHIP TEAM — This group helps in the planning and implementing of various aspects of our worship experiences. This also includes the various technical (sound, lights, video, etc.) aspects that contribute to our congregational worship times.
DCC PRESCHOOL — On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays during the school year, our rooms and halls are full of preschoolers learning readiness skills, and living skills in a fun and safe environment.
HOME CHURCH — Home churches meet on Sunday evenings to provide a small group setting that enables the church body to effectively care for one another and reach the lost.
LIBRARY — The DCC library is stocked with current and past publications to encourage our walk with God. Materials are available for all ages and can be used both individually and for classes.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY — This ministry provides opportunities for our women to encourage each other with Bible Studies, retreats, seminars and various other events throughout the year.
Administrative Ministries
BUILDING & GROUNDS — This is a ministry that cares for and maintains the physical facility of our campus.
COMMUNICATION — The daily e-mail reports, weekly worship guides and countless other publications are all coordinated from the church office.
FINANCE — This ministry provides vital information to help us be good stewarts of the gifts that God has given us.
